Wet Noses Mobile Vet

Project Overview

Wet Noses Mobile Vet is now Australia’s leading Mobile Veterinary service, delivering exceptional pet care in the comfort of your own home.

We worked with Wet Noses Mobile Vet on every aspect of their new business launch – from market research and feasibility, through to branding, projected financials, systems and processes, operational efficiency, marketing, recruitment, launch and now ongoing marketing and strategic support.

The Brief

The client came to us with the concept of launching a mobile veterinary business. At that point, the demand and feasibility for the business was intuitive – no specific research or intelligence gathering had been conducted.

The potential business did not even have a brand name! The client was looking for end to end new business development and launch support.

The client was looking to build a business that could scale on a local, state-wide and National basis, and this drove the majority of operational and marketing decisions.

The Action Plan

From the outset we worked with the client to develop a fully detailed launch plan, identifying all the tasks, responsibilities, timings and forecast costs for launching the new business. This plan became our blue-print for launch, and every single activity was tracked and reported on.

The key achievements and milestones throughout the project, included:

  • Conducting feasibility and market research
  • Developing projected financial models
  • Understanding compliance and regulatory issues
  • Creating and designing new, customer focused brand and collateral
  • Developing of marketing assets – print, web, digital, signage, collateral etc
  • Development of operational check-lists, systems and processes
  • Research and implementation of practice management technologies
  • Development and implementation of marketing strategy
  • Develop and implement advertising campaigns
  • Major event marketing and event support
  • Development and implementation of partner business strategy
  • Recruitment of staff
  • Ongoing strategic, operational and marketing support

The Results

The business successfully launched at the end of 2015 in the agreed staged, strategic approach. At that point, the business was a 1 vet, 1 clinic business operating 4 days per week, as per the plan.

The brand has continued to grow significantly year on year, and currently employs 3 vets, runs 3 vehicles, has 2 vet nurses and a practice manager.

With a limited marketing budget, the marketing strategy has successfully delivered brand and service awareness across The Gold Coast, with the business booked out 6 days per week.

The business continues to grow and is looking to further expand.

“Juice Marketing not only helped us create the Wet Noses brand, but they were critical in developing all key elements of our business. They have been with us every step of the way as we have continued to evolve and grow. Their ability to combine marketing strategy and skills, with operational know-how and attention to detail is second to none. If you’re thinking about starting a new business, I strongly recommend getting their expert help from the outset. I have no doubt it saved us many tens of thousands of dollars in mistakes we would have otherwise made along the way.”
